Posts and Telecommunicatons Institute of Technology
In May 2022, the University Malaysia of Sarawak, Malaysia organized a delegation to visit Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the two universities.
The UNIMAS delegation included Professor Dr. Ambigapathy Pandian, Dean of Faculty of Language and Communication, Professor Dr. Wan Azlan Abidin, Director of Center for Graduate Studies, Dr. Wong Say Ho, Chairman of Grand International Edu Group Sdn Bhd, Professor Dr. Puah Chin Hong, CEO of UNIMAS Business School, University Malaysia in Sarawak, Malaysia.
From PTIT’s side, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice Present, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Huu Hanh, Director of the Center for International Education, Dr. Ngo Duc Thien, Head of S&T and International Cooperation Department, Dr. Do Trung Anh, Vice Head of S&T and International Cooperation Department as well as other staff from S&T and International Cooperation Department and the Center for International Education.
At the meeting, representatives from PTIT and the University of Seville made introduction of the universities and shared a plan extending cooperation in mobility and research activities with international universities.
Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS; English: University of Malaysia of Sarawak) is a Malaysian public university located in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. UNIMAS was officially incorporated on 24 December 1992. Recently, UNIMAS has been ranked among top 200th in Asian University Rankings 2017 by QS World University Rankings. The University took in its first in 1993 and at present, the University consists of 50 Faculties, three Institutes and 60 Centers. UNIMAS receives hundreds of international students from over 30 different countries and is in plan to further cooperate with universities in Vietnam including PTIT.
