Part of the collaboration between the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Temix Company, and the University of Catania (Italy), the internship program in Italy

The collaboration between Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), TEMIX Company, and the University of Catania (Italy) aims to provide an internship program for fourth-year students majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at PTIT. Students with good English communication skills will receive support for accommodation in Catania during their internship at TEMIX and participation in activities at the University of Catania.

TEMIX will cover the accommodation costs in Catania, while PTIT will support round-trip airfare (Vietnam-Italy) and visa fees for selected students. The application documents must be submitted directly to the Science and Technology & International Cooperation Department before May 15, 2024.

PTIT will compile and hand over the registered profiles to the partners.

TEMIX is a private group from Italy with over 30 years of solid heritage in the Telecommunications and Electronics industry. The University of Catania is a university located in the city of Catania, Sicily, Italy. Established in 1434, it is one of the oldest universities in Italy. With over 60,000 students and more than 2,000 faculty members, the University of Catania is a major academic center offering diverse training programs from undergraduate to postgraduate levels. The university is renowned for its natural sciences, engineering, and medical fields. Many advanced research and scientific works have been carried out there, especially in the fields of renewable energy and information technology.

The collaboration program between PTIT, TEMIX, and the University of Catania not only provides internship and learning opportunities for students but also opens up opportunities for developing skills and knowledge in the field of Telecommunications and Electronics.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

• Fourth-year students majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at the University’s regular undergraduate program.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0) at the time of scholarship consideration.
• Demonstrated good communication skills in English.
• Display a strong willingness to learn and improve.
• Submission of a convincing CV and Motivation Letter.
• Preference given to students who are part of the university’s sports team or have achieved awards in student competitions, as well as those actively involved in university activities.

Duration: 2 months or more

Participation content:

• Engage in practical work on a specific project related to Antenna and Electronics Design
• Attend theoretical sessions and practical activities in the lab at the University of Catania

Number of scholarships: 2 slots
