FOSSASIA SUMMIT 2024 held at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology exceeded expectations with its outstanding outcomes.

On the afternoon of April 5, 2024, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) collaborated with Bonch Bruevich Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications (SPbSUT) to organize a sharing session on the topic of Information Security.
Participating from PTIT was Assoc. Pro. Hoang Xuan Dau, Deputy Head of the Information Security Department. The session was led by Assoc. Pro. Igor Ushakov from the Department of Communication Systems Security, SPbSUT.
The sharing session focused on updating the recent threats and security vulnerabilities as well as effective defense strategies for each case. It is evident that this is a topic of great interest to students specializing in information security, both at PTIT and in general. Despite being organized online, the session still garnered significant attention from students at the offline venue as well as those participating online.
Following the sharing session, Associate Professors Igor Ushakov and Hoang Xuan Dau also discussed the additional skills that students need to prepare in order to adapt to the continuously developing technological environment.
