On August 7 2020, with the permission of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), PTIT organized the signing ceremony of the Agreement amendment for the establishment of the Centre of Excellence in Software Development and Training between PTIT and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC).
Distinguished guests attending the ceremony included H.E. Pranay Verma -Ambassador of India to Vietnam, Assoc. Prof. Vu Van San – President of PTIT and representatives from derpartments of MIC.
As a leading university of the tnformation and communications industry, over the years, PTIT has built and established extensive cooperation with many research organizations, universities, many large businesses in the world and in the region. To develop IT human resources, PTIT and CDAC signed an Agreement to establish a high quality software training and development center with the purpose of establishing a high quality software development training institution with modern facilities, application of new training technology, courses designed to meet international standards; lecturers, researchers, IT experts through the project are trained with modern training methods, exchanging and sharing experiences with Indian experts will have more knowledge and experience at the international level.
As such, when the project is implemented, it will make an important contribution to the university in implementing its development strategy, developing high-quality IT human resources for the country, contributing to promoting the development and application of the university and IT applications, to meet the needs of Vietnam’s sustainable development and international integration.
During the implementation of the previously signed Agreement, there have been some changes in the implementation contents; therefore, PTIT and CDAC have discussed and reached an agreement to hold the signing ceremony of the Agreement Amendment for the establishment of the Centre of Excellence in Software Development and Training between the two sides to create a basis for implementing activities in the coming time.
