Recently, within the framework of the “Seeds of the Future” program organized by Huawei Vietnam, students participating in the PIM-Huawei Tech4Good program were divided into groups to present technology solutions for society. On behalf of the G-VN01 group, student Nguyen Quoc Hung of class E17CN01, PTIT presented the virtual assistant application communicating with the hearing impaired. The application uses AI technology to recognize signal and translates into speech in all languages and uses 5G to communicate with each other remotely. The convincing and confident presentation brought the victory to the G-VN01 group, which surpassed many groups from other countries to get the opportunity to participate in the final round in January. 2022.

This year, the “Seeds of the Future” program introduces latest technologies such as 5G, AI, Cloud, IOT, etc. In particular, in 2021, Huawei Vietnam will deploy more useful experiential activities such as:

– Exchange and share technology knowledge with Vietnamese and global experts.

– Debate with students from other countries on technology topics.

– Presenting by topic, the TOP 10 groups with best performances will have the opportunity to participate in global competitions and win special prizes.

– Sharing national culture for foreign students to study together.

– etc….

Seeds for the Future is Huawei’s flagship global corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme. The programme was launched in 2015 in Vietnam. This programme aims to develop skilled, local ICT talent and bridge communication between countries and cultures.

Implemented since 2008, the program “Seeds for the Future” organized by HUAWEI Group is a global social responsibility program, implement in more than 130 countries. This program provides opportunities to learn and exchange the most advanced technologies in ICT industry with global experts and students.

In 2015, Huawei Vietnam organised the first “Seeds for the Future” program in Vietnam. Up to 2020, there have been 69 excellent students from leading schools in Vietnam, such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Natural Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City, University of Electricity, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, FPT University, etc. have received scholarships to participate in the program.
