On August 4, 2022, the European Commission (EC) informed the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology to be sponsored for implementation of the Jean Monnet Modules project within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program in the period of 2021 – 2027.

The project with the content: DigiEU – European Digital Strategy and its Impact to the Digital Transformation agenda in Vietnam will be implemented in 36 months from November 2022 to November 2025 at the International Training Center – Institute of Post and Telecommunications Technology.

The goal of the project is, through the delivery of a teaching module consisting of three introductory courses on the EU Digital Strategy (Open Data, Digital Literacy and Digital Privacy), while also implementing Currently researching on the impact of Digital EU strategy on Vietnam, the project aims to increase the knowledge of Digital EU among Post and Telecommunication Institute of Technology (PTIT) students and others including scholars, experts and policy makers in related fields in Vietnam. On the other hand, the project also aims to promote the introduction of the EU’s approach to the EU Digital strategy among students with technology and media backgrounds as well as academics, professionals and decision-makers. policies in related areas and then promote discussions on the impact of the Digital EU strategy on Vietnam.

By developing an e-learning website where multimedia teaching materials can be found, the teaching module hopes to enhance the availability of resources and activities (policies) on Digital EU (Digital EU) strategy among students and other target groups in Vietnam.

Previously, in the period 2020-2021, EC sponsored the PROEUHE project, which was the first project implemented by the Academy under the Jean Monnet Projects group (Jean Monnet Information Project – 621079-EPP-l-2020-1-VN -EPPJMOPROJECT of Jean Monnet Actions – Erasmus+ Program 2015-2021, aims to promote European higher education through multimedia media. After the first phase of implementation, the project has achieved certain results such as: Organizing Events – Training Workshops: EU Day events in 2020, 2021, and 2022; Kick-off and project introduction; Summer School; Training Workshop.
