At the “Samsung Talent Scholarship Awarding Ceremony 2022”, Samsung Vietnam awarded scholarships to excellent students from universities and institutions in the North, in which 12 students of Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology have won scholarships worth nearly 1 billion VND.
PTIT students received Samsung Talent Scholarship in 2022
According to the Organizing Committee, the value of each scholarship includes: more than 73 million VND in cash/student; Scholarship recipients will be able to practice and do new technology projects (3 months) with the guidance of experienced engineers; In-depth algorithm training, standard processes and solid expertise that meet global engineering standards; Become an official employee of the largest Samsung R&D in Southeast Asia in Hanoi with a team of more than 2,000 engineers, masters and doctorates with attractive remuneration (15-19 months salary/year…). In addition, students also have the opportunity to work on advanced technologies such as Data Analysis, AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, Android Programming, Web Programming (Back-end/Front-end) DevOps, system development embedded system; Opportunity to work with various Mobile and PC platforms (Android, iOs, Windows, Ubuntu) on all System-Framework-Application subclasses; International working environment, long-term onsite opportunities, cooperation with major Samsung R&D centers around the world including: Korea, India, Europe, China… Students could also participate in the patent development (patent) with top experts and create the world’s #1 commercialized products.
Samsung Talent Scholarship (Samsung Talent Program – STP) is a cooperation initiative between Samsung Vietnam and major northern universities to develop high-quality human resources, incubate and nurture outstanding talents in the field of innovative software in Vietnam. This is also a program to support more and more talent students who have the opportunities to develop their careers. Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology – PTIT is one of the universities participating this program.
Samsung Electronic Vietnam launched the Samsung Talent Scholarship program for PTIT students in 2014. Up to now, Samsung Electronic Vietnam has awarded more than 100 scholarships to students in the fields of Information Technology and Information Security, Electronics and Communications.
