Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology provided professional training environment for many Lao students in the field of ICT

For many years, Vietnam has received and trained Lao students in various fields of study. In the field of information and communication, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology provided professional training environment for many Lao students.

During the period of 2016 – 2021, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology implemented the long-term training for a total of 63 Lao students at both undergraduate and graduate education.

According to Dr. Do Trung Anh, Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Technology Management and International Cooperation, almost Lao international students who have been studying at PTIT in the fields of ICT such as IT, Electronics and Telecommunications. Some of them are majoring in Business Administration. Due to the ICT field requiring highly specialized knowledge of ICT field, Lao students have to work very hard to catch up with their classmates when studying together and taking exams with Vietnamese students. In order to support Lao students to overcome difficulties in Vietnamese language, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology has assigned a number of Vietnamese students and staff to support them during their studies.

Along with overcoming difficulties in learning to be able to meet the requirements and training quality, Lao students actively participate in cultural movements, sports, activities. students organized by PTIT; exchange program with foreign students of Hanoi University, Security Academy, Hanoi University of Science and Technology… on the holidays and traditional festivals of the two countries Laos – Vietnam.
