The First Vietnamese Education Exhibition in Laos was jointly held by Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and Laos Ministry of Education and Sports. Since the number of scholarships Vietnam grants to Laos increases year by year, the number of Laotian students flocking to Vietnam has been on a rise. Vietnam and Laos are close neighbors with similar customs and life style, making it easier for Laotian students to adapt when they study in Vietnam. The First Vietnamese Education Exhibition in Laos has created a good chance for Vietnamese universities and Laotian students to embrace their connectivity.

PTIT participated in this year’s event with a youthful and inspiring exhibition booth. The institute has been well-known for degree courses in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Information Security, and Multimedia Technology. During the exhibition, PTIT welcomed a great number of potential Laotian students asking about training programs, necessary procedures, scholarships and the learning environment in Viet Nam.

At PTIT, Laotian students can stay at the dormitory located within the school campus, which is very convenient for them to support each other and join the local community. Each room is well equipped to meet students’ demand for study and recreation. Thanks to agreement between Vietnamese and Laotian governments, Laotian students only pay the same tuition fees as Vietnamese students for their study at PTIT. Qualified students also have the opportunities to receive scholarships from Vietnamese Government and Ministry of Information and Communications.
