Along with Le Duy Bach, the champion of informatics specialization, the team also won other high awards: Nguyen Hong Anh Tan won the Third Prize of Super Cup, Phung Ngoc Quang Huy, Nguyen Hong Minh, Nguyen Thai Duong won second and third prizes of individual for informatics specialization and non- at the first time of their participation; PTIT.DoTTA teams won the second prize of ICPC National round; PTIT.BlackKnights team won the third prize of Northern round and First Solve of Asia Hanoi round, PTIT.STM32F103 won the third prize of ICPC Non-Specialzation of both National and the Asia Rounds. The Institute’s team also won the First Prize of Team of informatics specialization.

The 27th Vietnam Informatics Olympiad and the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Asian, Hanoi 2018 held by the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology from November 27 to 30 in Hanoi attracted nearly 600 students from 56 universities and colleges in Vietnam, 18 international teams from five Asian countries (Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia and Taiwan), nearly 150 lectures and trainers, 250 teams participating in the 07 blocks of the contest: OLP Super Cup, informatics specialization, informatics non-specialization, College, Open Source Software … ICPC contest attracted 125 teams with 375 students, in which there were 18 international teams.

As the host, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology actively prepared for the organization for many months, from logistics, facilities, examinations, … The institute mobilized more than 50 officials and lecturers to participate in examinations and technical assistance, 50 students participated in volunteer work to support the teams and dozens of staffs in charge of supporting works. Also at the ceremony, the Vietnam Informatics Foundation (VIF) highly appreciated the success of the Contest and awarded the Certificate of Merit to the ICPC Organizers, to the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology as the host the contest.
