REI BUSINESS WEEK IN NOVEMBER 2019 AT THE POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATION INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

In November 2019, the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology was honored to welcome the expert team of the Resource Exchange International (REI) to work at the Institute. REI-Vietnam is the US non-governmental, non-profit human resource development organization in Vietnam. REI Week is part of an expert exchange program implemented in the spring and fall every year.

Continuing to carry out these activities in 2019, In November 2019, the REI team was present at PTIT to organize the second “REI Business Week” for PTIT students. The content of discussions and presentations of REI experts is for students with many topics, focusing on such topics as soft skills, business skills, cultural environment, team building…

The exchange sessions of REI experts at PTIT took place with the active and enthusiastic participation of students and lecturers. The knowledge, skills and experiences related to the topics were presented by experts with a lot of enthusiasm and high inspirational ability. The working week has recorded a lot of positive feedback from all stakeholders – experts, faculty, students and organizers.

Besides the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, REI also organizes the “Business Week” week at three other universities, namely Hanoi University, Foreign Trade University, and University of Foreign Languages. – National University and a number of universities in the southern region such as Foreign Trade University Campus II – Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, University of Law Economics – National University Ho Chi Minh City and Ton Duc Thang University.

Founded in 1990, REI operates in education, human resources and charity and has been present in 9 countries (China, Egypt, Laos, Indonesia, Jordan, Djbouti, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyrstan and Vietnam-since 1992) with the operation principle of “Building people, Building a Nation” to encourage and enhance the capacity of on-the-spot resources in these countries. REI has sent hundreds of foreign experts to Vietnam to train in areas such as English teaching, medicine, social work, business … and has sent over 100 Vietnamese experts to the United States to develop medical and pharmaceutical expertise and economic sectors.
