The collaboration program between PTIT and VinAI, as evaluated by Prof. Dr. Tu Minh Phuong – Chairman of the Insitude Council, will contribute to enhancing the practicality of the training program and providing students with opportunities to engage with businesses while still in school. This will help students prepare themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of businesses after graduation. In response to the demand for AI talent from businesses, the Academy will establish a department for training in Artificial Intelligence and focus on investing resources in this new field.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Cuong – Vice Head of Faculty of Information Technology 1 and Head of AI Lab at PTIT, the Artificial Intelligence specialization under the High-Quality Information Technology Engineer Program was introduced by the Academy in 2020. This is a new and challenging specialization compared to the general knowledge base and is selective in admitting students. With the first 29 students enrolled in this specialization and over 600 IT students at PTIT expected to graduate in March 2025, it is hoped that this will partially meet the current demand for AI talent from businesses.
