The U.S. Embassy in Vietnam announces the selection of candidates for the Fulbright Vietnamese Visiting Student Researcher Program (VSR). This program offers up to 5 full scholarships each year for doctoral students in the field of Science and Technology at a university in Vietnam to conduct research for 6 to 10 months at a U.S. university for the 2025 academic year.

VSRs are expected to start the program within the academic year of U.S. universities (from August to May). The Fulbright scholarship is a cultural and academic exchange program, so VSRs must reside in the city where the host university is located and engage with the local community in the U.S.
