Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) hosted the event “Connecting Investment for Climate Technology Startups in Vietnam.”

On August 15, 2024, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) is hosting the event “Connecting Investment for Climate Technology Startups in Vietnam.” This event, co-organized by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi, VMO Holdings, and New Energy Nexus Vietnam, aims to bring together 100 climate technology startups, investors, and industry experts to drive the development of climate technology in Vietnam.

The event provides a platform for Vietnamese climate technology startups to showcase their innovative ideas and connect with potential investors. It also promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and investment opportunities within the climate technology community. By creating a vibrant ecosystem, the event contributes to Vietnam’s transition to a low-carbon economy and its ability to adapt and recover from the impacts of climate change.

This event marks a significant milestone for the Climate Change Entrepreneurship (CCE) Hub, the first of its kind in Asia and the second globally, operated by VMO and PTIT in Vietnam. CCE Hub is a global program designed to promote innovative climate change solutions in developing economies, supported by the U.S. Department of State and various partners including academic institutions, investors, non-profit organizations, and corporations to support climate-focused startups and enhance sustainable investment.

The CCE Hub Vietnam is currently located at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) and was inaugurated in September 2023.
