The Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Nguyen Minh Triet, presented awards to the three young graphic designers.

At the ACP 2024 finals, the top 15 contestants competed in designing promotional materials using Adobe software on the theme of youth volunteering, conveying the message of the youth’s role and responsibility towards their homeland and community support.

As a result, Le Trang Anh, a student from PTIT, won in category A (for universities and institutes); Nguyen Dinh Kien Dat, a student from Hanoi Vocational College of Technology, won in category B (for colleges and vocational schools); and Mai Ngoc Linh, a student from Chu Van An High School (Hanoi), won in category C (for high schools and secondary schools).

Speaking at the national award ceremony, Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union and President of the Vietnamese Student Association, stated that over the years, the competition has shown growth in both quantity and quality, including the number of participants, submissions, and international rankings.

The approach and investment in the competition have also been increasingly developed, providing a high-quality platform for young people. This is an opportunity for them to test their abilities, engage with a working environment, and meet international standards and criteria. It also serves as a training ground to equip essential skills for the highly competitive job market in the future.

TheThe National World Graphic design Championship ACP is an annual graphic design competition organized by the Central Youth Union, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and IIG Vietnam Education Organization on a national scale. This year, the number of participating teams has almost doubled compared to the previous season.

After the national qualifiers, 186 contestants (nearly 77% of the total participants) scored 700 points or higher – the qualifying score for obtaining international ACP certification. Among them are many young students who are still in secondary school.

The results of the competition have showcased outstanding talent, knowledge, and understanding of new trends in the world among the contestants, opening up great prospects for the Vietnamese ACP team at the 2024 world finals.

Previously, in 2018, student Nguyen Tran Thao Nguyen from PTIT brought home a Silver Medal for Vietnam in its first participation in the competition.
