Post and Telecommunication Institute of Technology (PTIT) introduces “PTIT Knowledge Gateway”

On May 15, 2024, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) introduced the “PTIT Knowledge Gateway” at its training base in Hanoi. The event was attended by Assoc. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, the Director of the Institute; Assoc. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, the Vice Director, representatives of the leadership of affiliated units, faculties, departments, functional departments, and a large number of students.

The “PTIT Knowledge Gateway” at the address https://trithuc.ptit.edu.vn is a product developed based on information technology with the aim of creating a centralized space to store high-quality information and knowledge in the digital environment to serve learning and research purposes. It aims to enhance the quality of training and scientific research, share knowledge with the community, and promote lifelong learning.

Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice Director of the Institute, along with the delegates, performed the ceremony to launch the PTIT Knowledge Gateway.

The PTIT Knowledge Gateway includes knowledge repositories and academic resources such as outstanding scientific research articles by lecturers and researchers of the Institute published in reputable international publishers and journals. It also contains prominent scientific research products applied in practice by the Institute, knowledge sharing from lecturers and experts within and outside the Institute, as well as massive open online courses (MOOCs) in various technology fields. Additionally, it provides tools to support learning, research, and the development of the academic community.

Associate Professor Dr. Tran Quang Anh, Vice Director of the Institute, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

During the event, Assoc. Dr. Tran Quang Anh, the Vice Director of the Institute, emphasized that in the context of deepening international integration, accessing and applying scientific and technological knowledge is crucial for the development of individuals, organizations, and the country. He expressed his hope that the PTIT Knowledge Gateway will bring many benefits to students, lecturers, and staff of the Institute and will continue to develop into a valuable resource for the academic community.

As a pioneer in digital transformation in higher education, along with the implementation of applications such as S-link, D-Lab, the Institute has launched several information gateways such as the Open Data Gateway at https://opendata.ptit.edu.vn and the PTIT Job Information Gateway at https://jobs.ptit.edu.vn. These initiatives are expected to bring many benefits to the staff, lecturers, and students of PTIT and aim to serve the community.
