This is one of the pieces of information presented by PTIT at the announcement ceremony of the University program for Game Design and Development within the framework of the Gameverse Vietnam 2024 event. With 200 enrollment quotas, the institute aims to train a professional game workforce with the ability to design scenarios and develop games on a diverse scale.

It is known that since 2010, the Institute has offered courses related to the game industry such as Game Scenario Design, Game Programming, within the Multimedia Technology field, with many generations of students graduating to work in the game industry. This serves as the foundation for building a specialized game training program at the university.

The game design and development program is built according to international standards CDIO, based on careful surveys of recruitment requirements from enterprises (DN), while also referencing training programs from leading universities specializing in game development worldwide such as New York University, University of Southern California, and Digipen Institute of Technology.

In this program, students are equipped with in-depth knowledge of game design, game development, as well as interdisciplinary knowledge such as mathematics, culture, psychology, economics, law, and marketing. Graduates can build games that not only attract players and generate revenue but also ensure ethical standards and especially compliance with the law.

Furthermore, learners can also innovate game applications in other areas such as education, commerce, communication, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country as well as promoting Vietnamese culture to the international community.
