PROEUHE Summer School on Enhancing the EU and European Higher Educadtion Visibility among Vietnamese University students

PROEUHE Summer School is organized by Center for International Education (CIE), Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) in Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc province at the end of April 2022 with the topic of introducing the EU and the European higher education system with the participation of more than 80 students.

The event took place successfully in 2 days with the main contents as follow:

• Introduce the history of Europe & Europe’s integration and the reasons why Europe should be the ideal study destination for students
• Issue on the Internationalization of European Higher Education
• Launch the Project’s website and video channel announcing the Project’s digital publications such as: exhibitions, art performances, experiential games to improve understanding of Europe
• Organise the roundtable discussion on measures and ways to raise awareness and understanding among students on the issue of the European Union and European Higher Education

PROEUHE is the first Jean Monnet project of its kind in Vietnam with a focus on education in the context of the European integration. The project aims to effectively build and develop multimedia communication tools, serving the dissemination of information about Europe, the integration of Europe, and the European education system. Accordingly, its outcomes expect to improve the knowledge about Europe and the European education system for students, lecturers, leaders, and staff working inside and outside the training sector in Vietnam. With the desire to develop learning exchange programs between Vietnam and European countries, the project shall contribute to bringing Vietnam’s education closer to the “globalization” standard by promoting long-term research and training plan between the two regions.
