In the workshop sessions, PTIT makes report on its employments Survey. Up to 26th October 2021, 70% of alumni who graduated in 2020 are surveyed on employment via emails, phones and other support channels like Facebook, Zalo… Monitoring alumni’s employment after graduating from 1 year or more is very necessary in order to support them to find jobs suitable with their training major, career and promotion. This is also one of the important criteria in evaluating and accrediting the training quality of higher education.

This is also one of the reasons that PTIT joins the MOTIVE project to support and connect its alumni with organizations/enterprises seeking for high qualified human resources.

On behalf of PTIT alumni graduating in 2020, Mr. Pham Hoang Anh, alumni from Faculty of Information Technology, is currently working at Momo E-Wallet Co.; and Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh, majoring in Marketing, currently working at Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPost), attended the Workshop and presented their comments to the MOTIVE project’s survey and experience in job search after graduation.

The workshop members agreed that until the next workshop, each member university will introduce and communicate to other higher education institutions to participate in the MOTIVE project. At the same time, participants also need to engage more enterprises to participate in the project. It is expected that in November 2021, partner institutions will complete the survey by increasing contact with students via phone, email and social networks. The Vietnam National University of Agriculture will be the focal point to gather data and prepare the report on the graduates’ employment status.

MOTIVE project funded by Erasmus+ aims to research on Vietnamese graduates’ employment to give recommendations on policy innovation, strengthen capacities of Vietnamese higher education and reinforce the linkages between partner institutions and enterprises. This is a systematic project on the basis of multilateral partnerships, between educational institutions in Europe and universities around the world. Participants from Vietnam include: Hanoi University; Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology; National University of Arts Education; Vietnam National University of Agriculture; Thai Nguyen University; Hanoi University of Home Affairs; Hanoi Tourism College; Halong University; Academy of Journalism and Communication.
