On August 15, 2022, on the occasion of the event “International Scientific Conference on Technology in the Digital Era” held at PTIT, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT had a meeting and worked with the delegation and senior experts of Qualcomm Corporation led by Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thao, Business Development Manager and Dr. Hoang Hung Hai, Product Manager Marketing.
At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation activities between the PTIT and Qualcomm over the past time, especially looking back at the progress, effectiveness and impact of the research projects supported by Qualcomm and the event “International Scientific Conference on Technology in the Digital Era” organised by PTIT with the participation from senior experts from Qualcomm.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Hoai Bac affirmed the role of cooperation activities with Qualcomm in the implementation of PTIT’s strategies. At the same time, the President also discussed with the partner delegation about the process of cooperation in research, especially in the field of telecommunications between the two sides. The meeting, on the part of PTIT, also had the participation of leaders of the Faculty of Telecommunications 1, the Department of Science&Technology Management and International Cooperation, the Center for International Education and other related units of PTIT.
On Qualcomm’s side, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thao, Business Development Manager also expressed her delight that Qualcomm is accompanying and supporting research for 4 research projects of PTIT in the fields of 5G, AI, IoT Internet of Things, UAV unmanned aerial vehicle system. Qualcomm is also very pleased to share about technologies in general and Qualcomm’s technologies at the event “International Scientific Conference on Technology in the Digital Era” held at PTIT.
Research activities, seminars, exchanges and meetings between PTIT and Qualcomm have marked more important steps in the cooperation program between the two sides, especially on the occasion of PTIT’s 25th anniversary, 1997 – 2022.
