Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology AWARDED BY THE GOVERNMENT FOR ACHIEVEMENTS IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION  

The Prime Minister has just decided to award a Certificate of Merit to the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), the Ministry of Information and Communications for outstanding achievements in digital transformation of higher education.

The Decision 1374 awarding the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister to PTIT signed by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh on November 9, 2022.

In his speech at the 25th anniversary of the establishment of PTIT, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung pointed out: Green transformation and digital transformation will be the two biggest and most important transformations of human resources, but if you want to be “green”, you have to be “digital”. Therefore, digital transformation will be the main driver of development. Every innovation institution must revolve around digital transformation. Only digital transformation of universities can solve the problem of digital human resources in Vietnam. “Let PTIT be at the forefront of digital transformation and become a leading digital university. Leaders of the Ministry put their trust in comrades and will accompany you”, said the head of the Information and Communication industry.

Recently, on the basis of being aware of the urgency of the digital transformation of higher education, PTIT has developed a PTIT Digital University ecosystem connecting the University – Students – Lecturers, thereby helping to make a fundamental and comprehensive digital transformation for the whole university, then replicate it to other higher education institutions across the country.

Data interoperability platform and products including digital admission/enrollment system (PTIT Admission), multi-agent super app (PTIT Slink) and certificate management system with Blockchain (PTIT Diploma) have been approved. PTIT focuses on construction of products which are all built in the direction of the foundation and play a key role in all 3 stages of enrollment, training support and certificate management.

In sharing at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2022 – 2023, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, the Presidents of PTIT said that the new students of the school have experienced the PTIT Slink application right from the time of enrollment and admission confirmation. PTIT’s digital transformation solution has been visited and applied by more than 20 universities. The school’s digital enrollment registration platform with fee reconciliation has been used by the Ministry of Education and Training in the national entrance exam in 2022, applied to 290 universities from Da Nang to the South. Along with that, there have been 4 million submissions on the virtual programming practice system Dlab, PTIT has also built a digital learning material for Political subjects with leading experts and will thoroughly apply it to the classroom in year 2023. In particular, PTIT has been evaluated by the Ministry of Education and Training as one of the top 5 universities in the field of ICT.

PTIT’s digital transformation is still ongoing, and PTIT aims to become the first model digital university in Vietnam, with three pillars of digital training, digital governance, and society. numbers in the university.
