From February 7 to February 28, 2020, 10 outstanding students selected from the Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Multimedia of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) participated in the Global Based Learning (gPBL) 2020. This program was co-operated by PTIT, Shibaura Institute of Technology Japan (SIT) and Co-well Asia Company.

This year’s program is entitled “Information Science and Engineering Human Resources Development Program”. The difference of gPBL scholarship program this year is that besides the participation of PTIT and SIT students, there are other students from: Hanyang University (Korea) and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia). Participants were divided into groups from different countries, and each group had their own way to approach the task, analyzed data from the database and made hypothesis about the reason why Cowell employees resigned.

In this memorial time in Japan, PTIT’s students not only spent all their time studying and programming but also visited Co-well Asia workspace. The gPBL gave PTIT students access to up-to-date research facilities as well as enhanced their soft skills in an international working environment.
